Elementary Spring Musical

Our Elementary students treated us to their heartwarming Spring Musical last week. Performing The Unity Tree, our Elementary Drama Club and Choir students shared the story of the division between Catsville and Dogsville as “That’s just the way it is!” But, upon seeing a friendship form between a new kitten and a new puppy, the citizens of the towns are convicted of their views and challenged to take a better look at why they’ve lived with division. Through a series of songs and scenes, barriers were broken down to create friendship and merge both Catsville and Dogsville into the town of Unity.

Well done to all our students! Each song was upbeat and memorable so that we continued humming them throughout the weekend. Well done, also, to our Drama Club students, who worked diligently to memorize lines and staging. Thank you to our Elementary Music Teacher, Mrs. Erin Jin, and our Drama Club Teacher, Mrs. Dawn Williams, for leading our students in doing their absolute best.
