TIS Family,  

Happy Women’s Day to all the women in the TIS Family. We are very thankful for everything you have done and continue to do to make our community a fantastic place. We probably do not say it enough, but thank you for who you are and what you do each day.

Setting days of remembrance or holidays on the calendar is appropriate because it helps us pause and intentionally process essential things in our lives. As I have thought about the important women in my life today, I am grateful for the reminder to intentionally pause and process who they are and why they are important to me. Things do not just happen by chance. They take intentionality and purpose. So, take some time and think about who those women are in your life, and let them know their importance this weekend.

LifePlus Principal Meetings

Next week, Tianjin will host the principals from the LifePlus schools for strategic planning and professional growth. Opportunities for strategic planning and professional growth are unique benefits of LifePlus schools. A group of leaders working together strengthens the group and the individuals, and this opportunity will undoubtedly accomplish both. If you see one of the almost 30 leaders on campus next week, please do not hesitate to say hi and welcome them to TIS.

LifePlus Fine Arts Festival

The LifePlus Fine Arts Festival is always one of the marquee events on our LifePlus calendar. This two-day event will provide students with a fantastic opportunity to learn and showcase their artistic talents. Students in performing and visual arts will be provided professional instruction during this event culminating with a beautiful evening of performances and art displays. Please do not miss the opportunity to support the LifePlus students on March 16.

The Spring Semester is going well and quickly. I am so thankful for the healthy community that has formed here at Tianjin International School and the growth that has occurred throughout the year. I am so thankful for all of you and look forward to seeing you very soon.

ECC & Elementary

The ECC and Elementary Health Fair is coming up on March 19 and 21. This year, Grades 4 and 5 will have their health fair on March 19. On March 21, the ECC will have their health fair in the morning, and the theme for ECC will be ‘germs.’ We will be learning how germs enter our bodies and how we can keep our bodies safe. Grades 1-3 will have their health fair in the afternoon on March 21. This will be a great time for students in grades ECC-5 to learn how to keep their bodies healthy.
