Hear from the Head
TIS Family,
“In like a lion, out like a lamb” is an English saying about the weather in the month of March. The idea is that the beginning of the month has uncomfortable and inconsistent weather as the transition from Winter to Spring takes place, but the weather at the end of the month is beautiful Spring weather. Although I remember thinking that March 1 was beautiful weather, it was undoubtedly followed by some cooler days. Now, we are reaching that transition point where the days are beautiful, and creation is blossoming once again everywhere you look.
The transition from Winter to Spring also means that we are reaching the end of Quarter 3, also known as being midway through the Spring Semester. With three-quarters of the school year coming to a close, we have all loved the engagement in the activities and events that have brought us together at school in these recent weeks. If you missed out, don’t worry, we have many more opportunities to be together throughout the final twenty-five percent of our school year. Don’t miss out!
PTO Dinner
A special thank you to all of the parents involved in planning the PTO dinner on Saturday night, March 23. This second annual dinner is a great way for us as parents to build community and connection outside of school. If you are unable to attend, please prioritize this event. It’s an event hosted by parents, for parents and staff.
Spring Drama
The Spring Drama is fast approaching. This comedic production will take place on the TIS stage April 12 and 13. This family event is a great opportunity to support the diligent work of our students.
Spring Break
We have only one more school week until Spring Break. As you make preparations for Spring Break, find a time to do something enjoyable with your family. Our children are only in our homes under our care for a short period of their lives, don’t waste these precious opportunities to invest in them.
Sincerely,
Ryan Witt

LifePlus Annual Parent Survey
As part of our ongoing continuous improvement, we invite you to take part in our annual parent survey. The survey will ask you questions about your school’s learning environment, educational programs, your child’s teachers, school safety, school-home communication, and parental involvement opportunities. We need your perspective as we evaluate these aspects of our schools, and we appreciate your comments. The LifePlus leadership team, principals, and school improvement teams will use the results to help guide both the consortium and individual schools.
Please scan the QR code to open the survey and submit it by March 29.
