From the Nurse

I want to encourage you to take advantage of holiday travels outside of China to catch up on immunizations.  The tetanus booster is currently restricted inside China so please check your child’s records to ensure that his/her tetanus is current.  A current tetanus vaccination is required before spring trips 2018.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at nurse@tiseagles.com. Wishing you a safe and healthy Christmas holiday.

Mrs. Jeanne Luman, RN

Lost Property – LOST & FOUND

We have a lot of lost items, mostly clothes, that need to be returned to their owners, however, as there are no names on these items, they cannot be returned.  May you please write your child/children’s name and grade on their water bottles and clothing, especially jackets, hoodies, gloves shoes, etc.  Also, if your child is missing anything, please do have your child come and speak to Mrs. Williams.

China Day

In another two months, it will be China Day and once again we are looking for performers, either singing, dancing or an instrumental Piece.  All performances ought to be Chinese in nature as we celebrate our Host Country.

PTO Updates

Thank you to everyone who has participated in classes, has contributed to fund raising and has come to PTO Teas this Semester. It’s been so good to have time together and in the same way, support the work of the school and our students. Following our PTO cake sale and the Christmas bazaar, we have now raised enough money to buy all the safety equipment for the Climbing Wall. Subject to training our instructors, we hope that students will soon be able to start climbing!!

A particular thanks to students in the 6th and 8th grade Chinese classes who donated money to our funds by carrying out an auction in their classes. We are very thankful for your efforts in this!

Christmas Charity Bazaar

Thank you all for your participation for our Annual Christmas Charity Bazaar! The income we got this year was 23,411.30RMB, in which our HS Student donated 968.50RMB. They did Face Painting, Santa’s Post Office, Card Making, Dart Game, Photo Booth, Bowling, and Nail Painting. The donation will go to the Shepherd’s Field Orphanage. Thank you all for your continuous support, and see you next year!

Sports Teams and Events

Many of our students work diligently on a regular basis to perform well in events outside of the classroom. We had a great show of support for our fall play and Christmas concerts. I want to also encourage you to attend sporting events as many people have been missing the opportunity to support our athletes and their diligent work. So, please come on out to the games and be apart of our growing school community.
