TIS Pink Ribbon Tea – October 11 at 10am
The PTO shall be hosting a ‘Pink Ribbon Tea’ to raise money to support breast cancer patients. Our donations also go towards helping those who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer and its early detection and treatment.
We would love you to join us in raising money for this important cause. Tickets are 30 RMB if you wear pink on that day or 50 RMB if you do not want to wear pink; and they can be purchased from the Admissions Office. We shall also have a number of items for auction that have been kindly donated by local businesses.
Why not come and enjoy a drink and cake with friends, whilst at the same time joining with others in support of this worthwhile cause?
Last year at TIS we raised 15,000 RMB. Can we better this amount this year?
Focus Country: South Korea
International Day is less than a month away! If you are interested in performing during the Programme portion of the Day, please do contact Mrs. Dawn Williams email@example.com as the schedule is filling up rather quickly!
Traditionally, on International Day, everyone wears either their own National clothes, or clothes from the country that they most identify with. Should you not have something to wear, please do speak with Mrs. Dawn Williams as she may have just the right outfit for you.

Caterpillars and Chrysalises
We have collected many swallowtail butterfly caterpillars from our ECC garden. Each classroom is watching the caterpillars grow and turn into chrysalises. We can’t wait to see them turn into butterflies. Check out the class photo streams or stop in for a visit to check it out!

For the past four weeks, we have been learning about safety in our weekly assemblies. The topics so far have included:
