Hexi District International Research Base Awarding Ceremony

We are excited to announce that Tianjin International School was selected by the Hexi Education Bureau of Tianjin to be the Hexi District International Research Base for all Hexi District teachers. The purpose of this cooperation is “to change the traditional way of class teaching to a comprehensive and more practical approach, using PACE (Practice, Active Learning, Cross-disciplinary and Social Emotion) as the foundation.” The Hexi Education Bureau will send local teachers to TIS on regular basis for training and for exchanging educational expertise. The theme for this year is “Let The World Be Your Classroom.”
This is an incredible honor and opportunity to have been recognized by the Hexi District as providing world-class education through our highly exceptional educators.
To celebrate this amazing cooperation, there will be an official opening ceremony on November 14, at 3:15 pm at TIS. Students, teachers, and administrators from the Hexi Education Bureau will come together with our own staff to commemorate this amazing opportunity for both organizations. In addition, we welcome parents and community members to come celebrate with us and enjoy a performance by our 7th & 8th graders along with local students from the Hexi District schools.
Please help us give a warm welcome to the Hexi Education Bureau of Tianjin as we partner together to provide excellence in academics.
