For all those who were a part of the three Cultural Programmes; the M.C.’s, Mrs Chen, Ms Ham, Ms Zhao and Mr Emerson. Mr Emerson also directed the Middle School Choir during their performance of what has become our China Day’s traditional favourite song, “Wo Ai Ni Zhong guo.” Well done to our talented High School students who did brilliantly dressed in Peking Opera costumes, which is not that easy to move about in. As well as the 4th Graders “History Lesson,” 6th Graders Song Dynasty dance, Cierco and Eva’s Song Dynasty Poetry reading and 7th & 8th Literature class who danced to the “Sheep Song.” This of course, would not have been possible without our Chinese language teachers, headed by Shang Laoshi. It would not be amiss to also thank these teachers for taking the time to practise their cool disco moves, much to the delight of all their students. We would also like to mention, MingKwan Chan (Eva) who practised for many hours, her song of choice, Tian Heihei

We would also like to thank our guest performers such as; all-time favourite, dancers from the Shera Princess International Dance School, Ms Erin Smidt, Elementary Choir Teacher together with Jian Shan (姜珊) a singer from音乐学院附中, “Mask-Changer,” Narnia Academy and Oak Trees ECC, Miyao Music Art Centre, the YoYo man and last, but definitely not least, the Lion and Dragon performers.

TIS ROBOTIC CHALLENGE

Annual Robotic Competition - Saturday, 16th February
Come and watch 18 (and counting) robots battle it out for that ONE spot to be invited to join robots from all over the world at the VEX World Championship.

Once again, TIS will be host to Robotic Teams from several schools throughout China. This is an all day Event which will prove quite spectacular. We encourage you to spend this Day with us. The Landing will be open all day, and both the PTO and STUCO will be selling various foods, so that you will not miss anything by having to leave Campus in search of lunch and/or nibbles.
