A look back on our 2025-2026 Open House

Our Open House last Friday welcomed parents, both new and old, to our community and created the opportunity for them to hear our schoolwide and classroom-specific plans for the 2025-2026 school year. It was a great way to reconnect and to meet incoming parents.

Our Head of School, Mr. Ryan Witt, opened the night, summarizing key principles we adhere to within our school. He reflected on what it looks like for students to start well and how our school takes action to ensure that the newest members of our student body thrive. He followed with reminders of our Child Safety and Protection policies and specialists and acknowledged the meaningfulness of our school’s Cognia accreditation, an international certification recognizing schools’ demonstration of committed “high-quality education by meeting rigorous performance standards.” As one of our upcoming schoolwide plans, Mr. Witt highlighted our historic 40th anniversary celebration, which will take place on Friday, September 26.

Our teachers were thrilled to meet with parents throughout the evening to share about their backgrounds, the highlights students can look forward to in their classes, and information on AP classes and testing. Thank you to all parents who joined us and to our student translators and staff members who helped the event go smoothly. We’re in for a wonderful 40th academic year!
