A Recap of Robin Hood
Our Spring Play brought us a humorous spin on a legend through The (Somewhat) True Tale of Robin Hood. Through this performance, we followed Robin Hood, played by Lucas C., his troop of Merry Men, and the Town’s Guy, played by Caeric C. Together, they stole from the rich to give to the poor and foiled the plans of the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham, played by Caleb W., and the evil Prince John, played by David L. The two wicked men planned to crown Prince John as king and to use the money of the oppressed people to purchase a diamond-encrusted weathervane.

To entrap Robin Hood, Prince John and the Sheriff plotted an insidious plan. Before the kingdom, they would hold an archery tournament and bestow the hand of Robin Hood’s beloved Lady Marian, played by Mia L., to the best shooter.
Through twists and turns, torture by K-Pop Demon Hunters songs, and nail-biting bowling and archery tournaments, justice was restored to Sherwood Forest! Prince John and the Sheriff were deposed, and Robin Hood was crowned as interim king with wedding bells in the air.
Well done to all cast and crew members! Thank you to our wonderful director, Mrs. Rachel Way. This was such a fun performance that mixed humor with history. Thank you, as well, to all staff members who put in the time and focus to ensure all details supported this tale and made up the world of Sherwood Forest.
