Check out these highlights from Christmas Bazaar

Our annual Christmas Bazaar, which took place last Saturday, December 13, brought to this season a reminder of togetherness and giving. With more than 70 vendors and over 600 tickets sold, our halls were filled with members of our school and those from the local Tianjin community. We enjoyed delicious drinks, treats, and meals; played games, bought handcrafted gifts for loved ones, and took photos with Santa.

The day was so special, and the cheer continues to extend to other places near and far. With the ticket sales and vendor booth fees, together, we raised more than 23,000 RMB, which will go to a charity here in Tianjin. Also adopting a giving spirit, our third-grade students developed the idea to make ‘squishies,’ which they sold at the bazaar. The proceeds will be used to purchase backpacks and supplies for an affiliated school in Egypt that teaches Sudanese refugees.
