Looking back on Quarter 1
As is so common in our community, our first quarter of the year was packed with a myriad of classroom activities, clubs, parent lunches, athletics, Fall Camp, and other events. It’s been a whirlwind start to the 2025-2026 school year, kicking off with our New Student Day and Parent Orientation. In classrooms, even in the first few weeks, we saw a continuation of growth in our students’ education and friendships from our previous school year, as well as new growth.

At both our Open House and Principals’ Coffee events, we welcomed parents onto our campus to make deeper connections and answer the most pressing questions regarding our vision for this year throughout our school and in each individual classroom.

Furthering our appreciation for connection, our Elementary and Parent Clubs recently began, encouraging students and parents to tap into their different interests and to learn alongside others. In our Elementary Clubs, our students are gaining experience in drama, art, cheerleading, digital storytelling, and more. Many of our parents are investing in language skills, in Chinese, English, and Korean, and are receiving tips on greater connection with their children in our Parenthood Club.

Our most recent event, our annual International Day, celebrated the many countries represented in our school and also celebrated our school’s 40 years of history. We welcomed local government officials and members from our school’s parent company, LifePlus, and cheered on performances by our bands and choirs.
While our schedules are still buzzing with events, we’ll enter our second quarter with great memories from these first few months. Thank you to all teachers, staff, students, parents, and Tianjin community members who have contributed to our school, making it a place to learn, love, and lead.
