School Wide Announcements
The 2024-2025 is upon us and we hope that every family has had a wonderful summer break.
On Monday, August 12, we welcome new students and parents to campus for orientation day. Then on Tuesday, August 13, we welcome all returning students.
We highly recommend that you read through the rest of this newsletter to familiarize yourself with the school again.
Divisional News
ECC
School arrival
Students enter through the ECC main entrance. and stay in the lobby until 8:00 a.m. They will then line up and go to their classrooms.
For parents dropping off their children, please enter the school through the south gate after 7:45 a.m. and follow the directions of our traffic monitors.
Outdoor classroom
Students will participate in outdoor classroom for large and gross motor skills development. This time also serves as an extension of classroom instructional time. Everyone will go outside, and teachers will be on duty to make sure that the students are playing and learning well. If students are unable to go outside due to high or low temperatures or high AQI, they will remain indoors (ECC Treehouse).
Lunch
Students will have an assigned seat at lunch, and may bring a lunch from home or purchase lunch from the school.
End of day
Students who ride the bus will be dismissed at 3:15 p.m and buses leave at 3:30 p.m. Parents who will pick up their children are welcome to enter the school campus during the afternoon dismissal time and wait in the ECC lobby to collect their children.
Supplies
Parents, please pack a change of weather-appropriate clothes, socks, and underwear in a plastic bag labeled with your child’s name that will be kept at school. Students are required to have labeled water bottle that cannot spill
Attendance
Parents, please call the ECC office at 8371-0900 ext. 370 or contact your child’s teacher on ClassDojo when your children are not able to come to school for any reason.
Elementary

Health Office
Student Medical Report
For new students, and Grades 1, 6 and 9 students, a Student Medical Report needs to be submitted on or before Friday, August 16. If you need a physical copy of the report, please go to the Admissions office or you can download a copy by clicking here.
Medical Administration Form
For students who need to take medication at school, a Medical Administration Form must be completed and submitted to the Health office.
