Beginning of the 2025-2026 School Year
The 2025-2026 school year begins next week! We hope everyone had a restful break and time with family and friends.
This year is particularly meaningful to us as it’s our 40th anniversary. We have exciting plans for the year ahead and can’t wait to make memories with our wonderful community.
We’ll kick off on Monday, August 11 with orientation day for our new students and parents. On Tuesday, August 12, we’ll welcome all returning students.

Divisional News
ECC
School arrival
Students enter through the ECC main entrance and stay in the lobby until 8:00 a.m. They will then line up and go to their classrooms.
For parents dropping off their children, please enter the school through the south gate after 7:45 a.m. and follow the directions of our traffic monitors.
Outdoor classroom
Students will participate in outdoor classroom for large and gross motor skills development. This time also serves as an extension of classroom instructional time. Everyone will go outside, and teachers will be on duty to make sure students are playing and learning well. If students are unable to go outside due to high or low temperatures or high AQI, they will remain indoors in the ECC Coral Cove.
Lunch
Students will have an assigned seat at lunch and may bring a lunch from home or purchase lunch from the school.
End of day
Students who ride the bus will be dismissed at 3:15 p.m. and buses leave at 3:30 p.m. Parents who will pick up their children are welcome to enter the school campus during the afternoon dismissal time and wait in the ECC lobby to collect their children.
Supplies
Parents, please pack a change of weather-appropriate clothes, socks, and underwear in a plastic bag labeled with your child’s name that will be kept at school. Students are required to have a labeled water bottle that cannot spill.
Attendance
Parents, please call the ECC office at 8371-0900 ext. 370 or contact your child’s teacher on ClassDojo when your children are not able to come to school for any reason.
Elementary
School arrival

Recess
Students will participate in recess for a time of socializing, fun, and collaboration. Everyone will go outside, and teachers will be on duty to make sure that the students are playing safely. If students are unable to go outside due to high or low temperatures or high AQI, they will remain indoors.

End of day

Secondary

For parents dropping off their children, please enter the school through the south gate after 7:45 a.m. and follow the directions of our traffic monitors.
Lunch
Students may bring a lunch from home or purchase lunch from the school cafeteria. Food is also available for purchase from the StuCo store.
End of day
Students will be dismissed at 3:20 p.m. and buses leave at 3:30 p.m.
Parents are welcome to enter the school campus during the afternoon dismissal time and wait in the main lobby to collect their children.
Supplies
Student’s backpack should be large enough to hold an A4 folder and other school supplies.

Busing
The morning pick-up bus schedule will be available for our New Student Day on Monday, August 11 and will be the same for the remainder of the year. Health Office
Student Medical Report
For new students, and 1st, 6th, and 9th grade students, a Student Medical Report needs to be submitted on or before Friday, August 15. You should also submit a copy of your immunization records. If you need a physical copy of the report, please go to the Admissions office or you can download a copy by clicking here.
Medical Administration Form
For students who need to take medication at school, a Medical Administration Form must be completed and submitted to the Health office.
