TIS Family,

Tianjin International School is proud to once again host the LifePlus Basketball Tournament. We are so thankful to be joined by schools from Yantai, Qingdao, Wuhan, and Chengdu to make this event an exciting athletic experience. The tournament will take place all morning tomorrow, and I would encourage you to come out and watch the boys and girls play. If you are unable to watch the games in person, please check the website for the schedule, scores, bracket, and livestream at https://tournament.lifepluslearning.com. Although we hope the true spirit of athleticism is evident among all involved in the tournament, we are also cheering our Eagles on to victory.

China Day

Our China Day cultural celebration is one of our school's best annual traditions. We are all truly grateful for the opportunity to study, work, and live in China. This annual celebration is designed to help us honor this festival each year. It is always a great joy to have our entire school community together for activities, good food, and performances. The Spring Festival is a time of celebration and connection, and China Day is a model of this within our school family.

The holiday is fast approaching. Whether you are traveling or staying in Tianjin, we do hope that your time includes family and friends. Remember to enjoy the time with your family, eat good food, and find time to relax. Be safe, and we will see you after the holiday.

Please join us for a joyful morning filled with student performances, cultural activities, and lunch as we celebrate this special day together. Festivities begin at 9:50 a.m., and the celebration concludes at 1:45 p.m. Limited bus service will be available. Please see the schedule below for details.

Dear High School Students,

It’s time to register for our annual “Canada Math Competition!”

Please go to High School Canada Math Competition Sign Up 2026 - Fill out form to register for the competition. The deadline to sign up is Monday, March 2nd.

Students in 9th, 10th, or 11th grades will compete on Tuesday, March 3, 3:30 – 4:30, A342. You will be able to ride the bus home.

Students in 11th or 12th grades who are interested in the longer Euclid competition will compete on Thursday, April 2, 3:30 – 6:15, B325 (yes, you will need to stay past 5:00 and get your own ride home)

If you are seeing this notice as a Middle School student (or parent of a Middle School student), keep in mind that your Canada Math Competition will be held in May. Information will come out in March.
