Staying Safe
Nov. 20
As there continues to be reports of positive COVID-19 cases around Tianjin, we recommend keeping you and your family safe by avoiding areas which have been classified as medium to high risk. We also recommend that you regularly monitor your Tianjin Health Code to ensure your code is green.
These cases are a reminder for us to continue being diligent with our COVID-19 protocols on and off campus. Please remember for more information about the school's COVID-19 response refer to our COVID-19 Response and Resources webpage. At this time, we want to remind everyone that a green Tianjin Health Code needs to be presented before entry onto campus.

During this cold and flu season, please be reminded that hand hygiene and wearing a mask are the BEST ways to prevent the spread of germs. Frequently, wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds. Avoid going to places with high volumes of people and wear a mask when you head out. It is also important that you keep your immunity system in order by having regular rest breaks, nutritious, regular meals and enough sleep each night.
Some of the symptoms of flu and COVID-19 are similar, making it hard to tell the difference between them based on symptoms alone. Flu viruses can cause mild to severe illness, including common signs and symptoms listed below. COVID-19 seems to cause more serious illnesses in some people. Other signs and symptoms of COVID-19, which are different from flu, include a change in or loss of taste or smell. Diagnostic testing can help determine if you are sick with the flu or COVID-19.
